These pieces were inspired by my dual cultures. My aim was to create a 

connection between these diametrically opposite worlds, to form a unified perspective. 

The shapes are inspired by "Jallis" or screens prevalent in ancient Indian

architecture that serve as a connection between the outside and inside.

The use of positive and negative space reflects a similar state of constant osmosis of values, beliefs and shifting cultural perspectives.
